Forschungsinteressen
My research focuses on the magnetic coupling between the solar photosphere and corona, using high-resolution observations and magnetohydrodynamic simulations to understand how small-scale magnetic structures drive solar jets, coronal rain, prominences, and atmospheric heating. At MPS, I work with Solar Orbiter/PHI data and combine it with observations from instruments such as SDO/HMI, SDO/AIA, IRIS, EUI and SPICE to investigate the evolution of photospheric magnetic fields and their impact on activity in the upper solar atmosphere. My broader goal is to connect data analysis and numerical modeling to reveal how plasma, magnetic fields, and thermal structure interact across the dynamic solar atmosphere.
