Forschungsinteressen

I use time-distance helioseismology (a powerful tool to probe the solar interior) to study large-scale plasma flows in the Sun, such as solar Rossby waves and meridional circulation. These flows play an essential role in the Sun's internal dynamics. Characterizing these flows and their long-term variations may help us understand the origins of solar variability.
