Forschungsinteressen

I am a PhD student working in the Planetary Atmospheres group in the Planetary Department. My PhD focuses on using microwave radiometry to study atmospheric molecules. I have built forward and retrieval models using the Optimal Estimation Method to simulate and retrieve ozone volume mixing ratios over Göttingen using data from ground-based spectrometers. The next phase of my PhD will focus on the Submillimetre Wave Instrument (SWI) onboard the JUpiter ICy moons Explorer (JUICE) mission, which uses a spaceborne chirp transform spectrometer to study various molecules in the microwave regime of the electromagnetic spectrum.
