Forschungsinteressen

I am a PhD student in the Solar and Stellar Interiors department. I am currently working on characterizing a whole new class of oscillation in the Sun called solar inertial modes and studying their contribution to the solar convection zone dynamics. These low frequency retrograde modes have only been significantly observed, relatively recently, and therefore have a lot of potential for newer discoveries. I am also interested in machine learning and data analysis applications and numerical modelling in astrophysics and beyond.
