Forschungsinteressen

The aim of my work is to detect observational evidence of the energy and mass transfers that sustain the solar atmosphere and the solar wind. To do so, I analyze data from a wide variety of instruments (EUI, SPICE, PHI) on board the Solar Orbiter mission and onboard multiple spacecrafts from Earth’s viewpoint, such as SDO, IRIS or Hinode. I combine these results to trace the signature of the energy and mass transfer from the in the upper layers of the solar atmosphere in the extreme ultraviolet to the evolution of the magnetic field in the solar surface. Finally, I interpret my results by comparing them with derived synthetic observations from numerical simulations.

Responsibility in space missions:
Solar Orbiter/SPICE planner.
Solar Orbiter Observing Plan (SOOP) co-coordinatior (Earth quadrature)
