Forschungsinteressen

My academic interest largely involves understanding the internal structure of the Sun and stars.
In my current work, I probe the solar interior using numerical models. Long time-series of observations (approximately 15 years) of the solar surface are able to identify and characterize many modes of oscillations. These surface observations can be modelled as three-dimensional structures, thus giving us a glimpse into the dynamic system within.
