The NECP is now complete

After the successful Juice launch, in-orbit commissioning activities have commenced. From April 25, 2023, to July 18, 2023, the Near Earth Commissioning Phase (NECP) activities for SWI were conducted to ensure the instrument's functionality. These activities have been successfully concluded, and SWI has been powered on for the first time.

Juice confirms that Earth is habitable
