Students with a relevant B.Sc. degree may consider obtaining an M.Sc. degree in Solar System Physics at the Technical University Braunschweig in preparation for an application to the IMPRS PhD programme. A Master thesis can be co-supervised by MPS scientists if interests align.

Students with a relevant B.Sc. degree may consider obtaining an M.Sc. degree in Physics at the University of Göttingen in preparation for an application to the IMPRS PhD programme. A Master thesis can be co-supervised by MPS scientists if interests align.

Students with a relevant B.Sc. degree may consider obtaining an M.Sc. degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Göttingen in preparation for an application to the IMPRS PhD programme. A Master thesis can be co-supervised by MPS scientists if interests align.

A master thesis in a relevant university study progam may be co-supervised by an MPS scientist if interests align. The formal process will be lead exclusively by the university. Please contact the scientist you would like to work with directly, or have your main university supervisor contact them. In some cases, for students enrolled at a German university, MPS projects may have funds available for a Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft as a small compensation for research project work.

I have a Bachelor's degree and would like to enrol in IMPRS as a Master student before moving on to do a PhD. Is that possible?
