Minister Falko Mohrs visits the MPS
Lower Saxony’s Minister for Science and Culture used the short summer visit to learn about the research topics and methods of the Institute.
During his visit to Göttingen today, Lower Saxony's Minister of Science and Culture Falko Mohrs visited the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research (MPS). In the early afternoon, Prof. Dr. Laurent Gizon, Managing Director of the MPS, and Director Prof. Dr. Sami K. Solanki welcomed him to the Institute. The short visit provided an opportunity to get to know the institute's research topics and methods and took the guest to clean rooms, laboratories and workshops where scientific instruments for space missions are built.
