Elisabeth-Schiemann-Kolleg

In the Elisabeth-Schiemann-Kolleg, Scientific Members of the Max Planck Society support outstanding young female scientists in the Chemical, Physical, Technical Section in attaining a lifelong professorship or directorship at a research institution. The programme is aimed at female scientists at the end of their postdoc period or at the beginning of their career as a group leader, junior professor or habilitation candidate. Every year, there is a call for proposals for the Elisabeth-Schiemann-Kolleg. All professors and directors of research institutions worldwide can nominate candidates. The members of the Schiemann-Kolleg select the candidates; usually 5 candidates are selected every year.
