Dr. Dieter Schmitt, scientist at the MPS and coordinator of the International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) at the MPS for many years, passed away December 4, 2013.

MPG Alumns
Alumn activities in the Max Planck Society
The Max Planck Society will create a central alumn network, into which existing alumn initiatives can also be integrated if desired. This central network will enter a test phase in the first half of 2026, with rollout planned for the second half of 2026.
