Hi, my name is Miriam Rengel and I am from Caracas, Venezuela. If you are interested

in my professional experience, here you can find it.  I am familiar with astronomical standard softwares (IDL, IRAF, MIDAS), and particularly have done photometry on sub-mm images using SURF. I have solid experience with radio-astronomy reduction packages (HIPE, CLASS, etc.). I have experience programming in FORTRAN, IDL, Phython, and HTML, and other standard scientific packets enclose also the list of my computer skills (e.g Mathematica and supermongo). Competent with most Microsoft & Linux computer programmes. Knowledge in internet systems. . Experience with web-sites creation and maintenance. Experience with radiative transfer codes. I speak Spanish, English, and German. Observational experience: Herschel HIFI, PACS, and SPIRE, including HIFI calibration, APEX, instruments: APEX-1, APEX-2, APEX-T2, CHAMP+, FLASH, ARO, SMT, instruments: SIS ALMA 1.3mm, SIS 2mm, 345 SIS receivers, OSIRIS/NAC and WAC, SCUBA at the 15-m JMCT, 30-m telescope (IRAM, Spain) , MAMBO bolometer and the heterodyne receivers, 1-m Schmidt telescope at the Venezuelan National Astronomical Observatory, 2.2-m telescope on Calar Alto, Spain, 2-m Schmidt telescope at the TLS Landessternwarte Tautenburg, SEST.
